I’m sometimes asked how I learned what I have about creating my business online.  I have to say a lot of it has been trial and error – simply reading what ‘s around and trying it up, seeing what doesn’t work and what does!

However, there have been a few places that have really helped me out and I thought I would share them here.  I have to share that all of these, I started as a free subscriber and then, based on what I saw – upgraded to a paid customer.

Internet Marketing Center – This was the first ‘offline’ seminar I attended, with my husband, back in 2007.  Stuart and I learnt a lot about how to get our websites to rank on the first page in Google.  We went home that weekend, followed the steps exactly – and our very first website made the Top 3 results in just 6 weeks.  We did that without knowing anything! We follow that process everytime we set up a site now.

The Internet Marketing Center offers The Insiders Secrets ebusiness start-up program which covers what Stuart and I learnt in that 2 day course, plus a whole heap more.  You can try out a no-obligation 30-Day trial of The Insiders Secrets to check it out yourself.

Internet Success System – After spending many hours searching for answers about ‘Internet Business’, I kept returning to The Internet Success System.  Mark Hendricks is a business person, who has created a phenomenal resource for people wanting to start an online business.

StomperNet – For great, down to earth SEO advice I’ve found Stompernet to be great.  I love how the Stompernet guys give really practical advice and lots of comparison and options.  One of the best investments I have made is the Net Effect and DVD of the Month.  In fact, StomperNet give more than just SEO advice – they combine their advice with a sound information in running an online business.

One Week Marketing Plan – this product is actually aimed at helping people earn money on Squidoo.  However, I found that many of the techniques being described and the action plans are very, very useful for your ‘everyday’ online business.  A small amount of modification needs to be made to the plans to be more applicable to your general offline business – but all I can say is WOW!

Reading lot’s of stuff helps too – when time permits.  I like scanning Website Magazine to keep up to date.  The online subscription is free, which is just great!

Coaching – Investing in a coach has been wonderful.  I haven’t had monthly coaching over the time but being able to connect with a coach to check my progress and set in place plans for the future has been great.  Coaching is something that I recommend for everyone

Why not share which programs have helped you the most?  I’ld love to know!
