So, I’m a woman and proud of it.  Just had to get that clear.

When I decided to start my online career, I found it really hard to find other women to connect with.  I was also a little worried that the women I would connect with wouldn’t really understand ‘me’.  I had experiences in the offline world when I met the Mums of children at the school my kids went to – because I came from the ‘corporate world’ and was very much a career woman.  Many of these Mums, although lovely people just didn’t get that I LOVED what I did and really didn’t want to a full-time, stay at home Mum.  It also didn’t help that I was generally one of a few women in my chosen industry and just so used to ‘going it alone’. So, when embarking on my online endeavour I fully expected again to be in a minority.

It took a few months, but I realized that there was a small, but quickly growing community of Women who were using the internet to conduct business.  What truly amazed me was the width of this community – from very small Work At Home Mums (WAHMs) to women who had large corporate aspirations.  I just had to work out how to ‘tap in’ to that network and not feel so alone.

Eventually, I did and I have started to create a lovely network of women who want to be successful online. From there came my desire to help other women connect and realize that they too can be succssful.

Enter my friend, Carol Deckert who I met through Social Networking.  Carol is a self proclaimed netweaver- someone who connects people with no thought of return for doing it.  For Carol, the ‘pay back’ will come later when she is least expecting it.

After spending time getting to know each other and working out that we both have similar philosophies in life, we decided to put together a package to help Women, or Ladies, in Business succeed and have it all….

Today, I am very pleased to announce our Speakers series – Ladies In Business Today

Carol and I have lined up 8 highly successful and amazing Ladies In Business to share with us, and our listeners how they have managed to balance their Work and Home life to be incredibly successful.

The aim is to encourage other women in their business endeavors and demonstrate that it is possible to succeed when trying to balance the different demands that Women have in their lives.

Each of the Women we have invited have vastly different businesses and they will join us in the hot seat and share their experiences, knowledge and advise with our listeners.

If you have heard any of my interviews previously will know that I don’t do a standard Q & A interview.  I dig deep and ask my interviewee to give something that they haven’t previously revealed.
