7 Deadly SEO Mistakes

Late last year, I took advantage of the Stompernet Stomping The Search Engine 2 (STSE 2) offer at the end of 2008 and received the STSE2 DVD / CD, original Stomping The Search Engines DVD / CD, a monthly subscription to the Net Effect printed Magazine and the DVD of the Month.

I wasn’t certain if I would stay a subscriber to the Magazine & DVD of the Month – but after I received my first one – I was convinced it was one of the best decisions I had made.

I’m really not a Magazine reader — but The Net Effect was amazing – very little advertising, lots of content and it’s aimed at all levels… newbies through to people who have an idea!

Through the DVD of the Month I have picked up some great tips and tricks to make my life easier. The DVD of the Month that showed me the best Firefox tools to evaluate websites was amazing — it was refreshing to see my son installing the tools on his computer the other day – as a result of that DVD.

Through all the hype that was happening a few months ago, with the high monthly rate they were charging, it was difficult for me to determine if I should even think about tackling SEO or anything else to promote my site and my blog.
